Being Bold in a Dark Place
What’s happening around us should not be allowed to affect our passion for worshiping God. Our worship of God should not stop.
Fear does not get to win just because it threw a challenge your way.
God has not changed who He is. He has not stopped working in and through us.
Worship of God puts your focus on Him. You remember who He is—that He is ever unchanging, completely stable, and willing to rescue and deliver you.
You’ll also remember what He’s done in your life in the past. Praise Him for that. Then praise Him in faith for what He is doing now that you may not yet see. Praise Him for what He’s preparing for you in your future. You know that He is who He says He is and He will do what He says that He will do.
Remember what Paul and Silas did when they were in prison after they were accused and beaten. They prayed and sang praises to God, loudly enough that other prisoners heard them (Acts 16:20-36). God rescued Paul and Silas miraculously, and the prison warden and his family were born-again.
Miraculous intervention belongs to believers who are bold in Christ, who remember who they are in Him, and who continue to worship and praise God as a lifestyle. I pray that you would experience the power of God on your behalf as you live with Him every day.
