Since worship is adoration of God, and praise boasts about God and His works, then let’s truly praise and worship Him with songs that focus on Him and with words that glorify Him. God is not glorified when we sing about the fact that we intend to worship, or how we will worship, or how we feel. God is glorified when we put our attention on Him and worship Him.
